About Us

If you’re running a service-based business, chances are you love the work you deliver for your clients. But the operational side of the business? That part can start to drag.

The admin. The systems. The endless list of things that somehow keep landing back on your plate. And maybe you’ve even tried hiring help before… only to realise you’re now managing the help as well.

And none of this is the best use of your time.

Your time is far better spent delivering great work and building the business you actually set out to create.

Believe it or not, there are people who genuinely enjoy the operational side of business. Creating systems, mapping out launch plans, smashing through admin, and turning your “I’ll do this one day” list into things that actually get done.

That’s us. 👋

The Smart Cookie Difference

Hiring operational support should feel like instant relief.
Not like you’ve just added “managing someone else” to your to-do list.

At Smart Cookie Studio, the goal isn’t to sit and wait for instructions.

It’s to understand how your business actually runs, take ownership of the operational work behind the scenes, and make sure things keep moving without everything landing back on your plate.

We care about whether the systems make sense, whether the admin is under control, and whether the way the business runs actually supports the founder.

Because if the only way things stay on track is through late nights, constant availability, or sheer mental load… that’s not a sustainable system.

And that’s exactly the kind of thing we fix.

Every business runs a little differently, which is why the way we support it is always designed with the founder in mind – how you work, what matters most to you, and how you want your business to grow.

Proudly Neurodivergent Friendly

Many of the founders we work with identify as neurodivergent.

Instead of expecting founders to adapt to rigid productivity systems, Smart Cookie Studio focuses on designing operational support that works with the way the founder actually thinks and works.

That can include things like:

  • No long onboarding forms – we gather the information we need through conversation instead of lengthy forms that nobody likes to fill out
  • A “no homework” approach – feedback and approvals happen live on calls wherever possible (no more apologising for not getting to that email!)
  • Automation and delegation wherever possible so fewer things rely on memory or mental energy
  • Built-in accountability points so important work doesn’t quietly drift off the radar
  • Creating a ‘founder sick day’ strategy – where the business keeps moving even if you step away unexpectedly

And if you’re not neurodivergent, we believe these same practices will work for you too. Why? Most business owners benefit from systems that don’t rely on perfect focus, perfect memory, or perfect energy every day.

At the end of the day, the goal is simple: a business that supports the founder, not the other way around.

 Meet Hannah

Founder & Online Business Manager for Smart Cookie Studio

Hannah is a senior operations and admin specialist with over a decade of experience inside growing businesses — and a long track record of being the person who makes things actually work.

Her background spans operations, project management, and executive support across start-ups, social impact organisations, boutique corporates, and global firms. She has a knack for stepping into complex environments and quickly seeing what’s slowing things down, what’s being overcomplicated, and what needs proper attention.

Clients often bring her half-formed ideas, ambitious plans, and messy problems, knowing she’ll help make sense of them and turn them into something practical.

She’s known for being sharp, calm under pressure, and easy to work with.

Outside of work, Hannah is a champagne drinker, Diet Coke enthusiast, pun lover, and enthusiastic (but terrible) karaoke singer.
And yes — she will absolutely want to see a picture of your dog.

If you’re ready to stop carrying the whole backend of your business in your head, then it’s time to book a discovery call.

We’ll talk through what’s going on in your business, what kind of support would actually help, and whether Smart Cookie Studio is the right fit.
